Classroom Aide
Merakey is currently seeking a Classroom Aide to join our Education Services within the Children and Family Division Education and Autism division in Leechburg, PA.

As the Classroom Aide you will work under the direction of a certified staff member to support and assist in providing instructional programs and services to children with disabilities or eligible young children.
The support and assistance include one-on-one or group review of material taught by certificated staff, classroom management, and implementation of positive behavioral support plans.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Support and assist all students in classroomPrepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, etc.
as assigned by the classroom teacher.
Present subject matter & planned lessons to students under the direction and guidance of teacher in a group setting.
Supervise students in designated areas and as assigned (e.
g.
, hallways, bathrooms, cafeterias, playground, gym, field trips, etc.
).
Monitor all classroom students' performance and record relevant data daily to assess progress.
Assist children individually or in small groups to help them master and reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers.
Participate in parent -- teacher conferences.
Assist in bus loading and unloading of students from transportation.
