Job Description:
To set and run presses within the standard times required for the product being produced.
To comply with all the procedures and workmanship standards relevant to the production of the product, including first and last off, and in-process quality checks.
Starts machines, monitor their operations, and records operational data, as required.
Follows inspection process to comply with customer and company requirements.
Inspects parts during production to meet customer and company requirements and produces pieces within tolerance.
Maintains focus on productivity, maximizing uptime.
Completes required paperwork accurately and efficiently to verify work Consistently address problems and make/implement solutions to improve efficiencies, process, and product flow, safety, and quality.
Work closely and cooperatively with the other Managers and Team Leads on day-to-day issues.
Be involved in continuous improvement of the tooling (i.
e.
coatings, different metals).
Available for overtime and training is required.
Available for shift work 1st/2nd/3rd Job Requirements:
Ability to utilize and interpret inspection gauges and equipment Ability to follow priorities, achieve goals, and coordinate activities in a timely and cost-effective manner.
No sitting, lifting, or bending restrictions.
Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
